About Me
- Earned a Clinical Social Work degree from the University of Maryland Graduate School of Social Work in 1977.
- Have a general adult psychotherapy practice at the Village of Cross Keys in Baltimore, Maryland where I see individuals, couples and groups. I also offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists and consultations to clinicians pursuing practices outside managed care.
- Had a previous career as a professional musician for 10 years and have raised two children with my wife who is a visual artist and a graduate of MICA. We have been married over 25 years. In addition to my general psychotherapy practice, I have a unique understanding of the particular challenges facing those who are artistically inclined and those who are in relationships with creative people.
- Over the years, I have been invited to give workshops on various psychotherapy topics to:
- The American Academy of Psychotherapists
- The Maryland Society for Clinical Social Workers
- The University of Maryland Graduate School of Social Work
- The National Association of Social Workers MD Chapter
